Alexandra’s Angels was founded by a group of friends and family to support Alexandra Mastriana-Solal’s quest to fight her 2013 sudden MS diagnosis.
The first Alexandra’s Angels BikeMS cycle team consisted of 17 cyclists that participated in the 2014 BikeMS 150 Breakaway. From these humble beginnings, we have grown to over 60 teammates raising more than $650,000 in just four (4) years to benefit the National MS Society, and ultimately led to the formation of the Alexandra’s Angels MS Foundation, Inc.
During our 5th year, we held our inaugural “MS Challenge at Birch State Park” and raised over $212,000 bring our overall team total to over $850,000 in 2018. We are mission ready to surpass the million-dollar mark in 2019!
Our team is committed to raising funds for MS through our foundation’s events, and our hope is that every person affected by MS battles this disease the way Alexandra has – positive-minded, full force, & head-on!

Let’s just start by saying Multiple Sclerosis picked the wrong lady to mess with. Anyone who knows Alexandra will say she’s made lemonade out of lemons regarding her MS diagnosis. She chose not only to stand up for herself but also for others battling this debilitating disease. She’s a woman who, throughout the entire course of her life, has NEVER taken no for an answer, never accepted the status quo, and never let anyone or anything place limits upon her. She is proof that life is 1% what happens to you and 99% of how you respond to it. MS, if anything, has pushed her to do more, prove more, live more, and love more.
Without a doubt, the cutting-edge treatment she has received has made a world of difference in her overall health. This is why we are steadfast in our commitment to fund targeted research, to develop better diagnostics, enhanced treatments, and ultimately a cure for MS! Alexandra’s positive mindset and can-do spirit have motivated her friends and family to support her crusade to end MS.
